MANEB Curriculum

METMMA Academy follows the Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB) syllabus, ensuring our students receive nationally recognized education that prepares them for success.

  • English: Reading, Writing, Speaking, and Comprehension skills
  • Mathematics: Numbers, Problem-solving, and Logical thinking
  • Chichewa: Mother tongue development and cultural awareness
  • Science & Social Studies: Understanding the world around us
  • Religious & Moral Education: Character building and values
  • Creative & Performing Arts: Nurturing creativity and talents

Christian Foundation

Every day begins with 30 minutes of Bible lessons and moral teachings. These sessions are open to various pastors and preachers, reinforcing our commitment to spiritual development alongside academic excellence.

Academic Levels

From nursery to primary graduation

Nursery School

AGES 1-5 YEARS

Early childhood education with focus on play-based learning, basic literacy, numeracy, and social development. Includes Baby Class, Top Class, Reception, and Day Care.

Dismiss: 12:30 - 2:30 PM

Primary School

STANDARD 1-7

Comprehensive primary education following MANEB curriculum. Students are prepared for PSLCE (Primary School Leaving Certificate Examination) at the end of Standard 7.

Dismiss: 3:00 PM

Mandatory for Sports Days and PE activities.

⚠ Learners without sports kits will not participate

School Requirements

What your child needs to succeed

Stationery

Parents are responsible for purchasing stationery for Primary students:

  • Std 1-2: 10 A5 hardcover notebooks, pencils, erasers
  • Std 3-7: 11 A4 hardcover notebooks, pens (blue/red), ruler, mathematical instruments

Nursery stationery is included in fees

Food & Break

Learners should bring packed food for break and lunch.

Security Policy: No stranger is allowed to bring food for a child. Only parents/guardians with valid ID.

Punctuality

Monday & Friday: Arrive by 07:15 AM (Assembly)

Tuesday - Thursday: Arrive by 07:25 AM

Important: Late arrivals will not be permitted after 07:30 AM to avoid class disruption.
